Can anyone tell me how to have MB and luggage tags for DME shipped to different addresses?
My son and I have 2 days in a villa and then we're switching to a 2 br. when my brother's family joins us.
I'm on the west coast and need my bands/tags shipped to me.
My brother is also west coast based but his family are 1 1/2 hr.s north of me, so it would be nice if his MBs and DME luggage tags could go directly to his address.
My son is on the east coast and his need to go to his address there.

All MagicBands for a reservation will be sent to the address you enter when you customize them.

Not positive, but I think DME tags will only be sent to the address of the member that made the reservation.

Agreeing with the other posters, I have always received them myself, and forwarded them myself.

Sigh, as have I, or I've hand delivered them. But now that we are scattered across country I hoped there was an easier way than relying on the mail just as the Christmas season mailing frenzy swings into action :(

Do they have old MBs that they can use just to board ME, or can you just scan a copy of the letter that they send and email it to them for boarding the ME (I have done this and it worked fine), and you can give them the new bands at the resort. You also don't NEED the ME tags for Disney to collect your luggage, if you give them your baggage claim tickets when you check in for ME at the podium they will grab your bags still. Even if you aren't comfortable with going that route, at least mailing the luggage tags would just be a regular envelope instead of having to send a package with MBs.

No one needs bands for dme. You don’t need the letter. You need a name on the reservation. Knowing what resort you’re going to can be helpful, too.

And tags are easy enough to send along, but they also have a workaround for dme picking up the bags without tags. There’s a sticky thread on the Transportation forum that describes it.

This is absolutely correct, you do not need MB nor the letter to board the ME bus, nor do you need the luggage tags to have your bags safely delivered to your resort. I should have also included not needing the MB or letter in my previous post, I was just mentioning things I have done in the past to appease my skeptical group, as I was traveling with people that did not trust that they did not need these things no matter how many times I tried to explain, so my reply was clouded by that particularly exhausting experience.

To be clear, I wasn't rebuking you; I apologize that it came across in that way. It's my typical response to this sort of question.

I can never find band or letter when I arrive at MCO, so I've done this a few times and KNOW it to be true, LOL. I've even had my cousin, a named guest on my reservation, check in, so I know it's ANY guest on the reservation who can check in at DME.
