MB and Room Safe?

Staying at CBR next month. Does the magic band lock/unlock the room safe or is there a separate key for that?

I was there from 6/29-7/6 and it was a key safe. I'm assuming it's still the same. I wished it was electronic with a code. I was afraid I would lose the key or leave it on the table, therefore negating the use of the safe.

Exactly! We're hoping to pare down all the junk we take into the parks, and would rather not have to carry around the safe key. Would be much more handy to have it linked to the magic band.
