MB and EMH

Just curious as to any experiences with EMH with MB's. Are you asked to leave the park if you are without MB? We are a family that enjoys the evening photo ops, and shopping during these lesser crowded times. I am guessing the magic bands take the place of the old room keys, so your admittance to attractions is based on if you have a magic band. But can you stay and eat, or shop? Thanks

By all means feel free to stay and spend more $$$. Just can't ride the attractions.
