Can I get something to go at sunshine seasons? and eat it at the world showcase (and get ds mcdonald's chciekn nuggets?) in WS - that stand before you reach canada?

Also, is that stand (mcdonald's) part of the DDP?

The McDonald's stand in Canada may be gone. It was renovated last month and all the McDonald's logos were removed. If it's serving food now, it may be something other than McDonalds.

But yes, I think you could get Sunshine Seasons food to go.

Ok.. thanks about the possible change--- tell ds not to count on it! (we discovered it by accident lst summer and actully saved the day- long story)

But I could get my food and his chciekn tenders at Electric umbrella (which I will never eat from again but he only requires chicken tenders/nuggets)

Yep, the McDonalds is not there anymore. It's just a snack counter now.

Sunshine seasons can def be to-go. Also, now I'm interested in the Elec Umbrella story! Why won't you ever eat there again?

You can definitely get food from SS to go. Last August, my husband and sons took their food back to the resort (sushi meal, pork chop and forgot what my other son got). I stayed on and enjoyed a solo afternoon at the World Showcase after enjoying my salad by the jumping fountains near Imagination. It was magical!

You can get your food to go at any counter service place at Disney World. It's great around World Showcase if your family doesn't all want the same thing. We even saw a group of about twelve people meeting up back in America. Each person had been dispatched to a different country to get some food. They all met back together and shared everything. I get pot stickers and egg rolls to go in China and take them to Germany to watch Illuminations.

SO good to know about the to go options....
As far at the electric umbrella 'story"- I actually meant a story about the mcdonald's just inside WS before canada...
ds and I were irritable with each other--- silly reasons but one was his picky eating habits... as a result he left a meal hungry because he would not eat what was offered... and I wouldn't let him film on test track... anyway, we were walking through WS to get to the boardwalk area for an illuminations cruises (that I was able to share with another DIS family!) and we found mcdonald's--- he ate his fav food, was no longer cranky and I got a reality check- about what was impt (at the meal he wouldn't eat, he said to me, don't worry mommy, just enjoy yourself)...

Now onto the electric umbrella- we ate there once: food blah (for me) very crowded, ect.
so many better places to eat (inc mcdonald in comparison to that place)
