We've used the dining plan multiple times and love it. One thing that has always been a problem is we always go through snack credits faster then our cs credits.

I've read more then once that you can convert cs credits to snack credits, but not exactly sure how this is done. I thought I had read that the conversion is maybe 4 snack credits for 1 cs meal. But, every time I ask a cast member I get looked at like I have 3 eyes.

Can I just bring said snacks to the counter and tell the I want to use a cs credit?

Our last trip we had 12 left over cs meals that we didn't use and I know we paid out of pocket for water multiple times.

Thanks you guys!!

Never used dining plan before but I know the serving sizes are huge. It would be great if we could share some meals and have more snacks! Hope someone answers..... :rolleyes1

I think this is primarily only available at the resort food courts. I think it may also be a bit of YMMV situation. I think the going rate is 3 snack credits for 1 cs meal (if you are able to do it.)

POR food court let us have 2 bottled drinks and 1 bakery item/dessert for 1 CS

Main Street Bakery let you have 2 bakery items and a drink - good for picking up a couple of pastries to take back to the resort

Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD let us have 3 cookies for 1 CS credit

apart from that we had no luck in terms of actually converting leftover CS credits - so a bit of planning is needed.

People have mentioned such things on here during free dining periods (during previous years) but that was for converting a TS to a CS not a CS to a Snack credit. It is my understanding that there was a year that Disney allowed this because there wasn't much availability in the TS restaurants and people we upset that they couldn't eat. This was when the regular dining plan was offered at all of the levels of resorts for free dining. I'm thinking maybe two years ago (fall of 2008?)

And when they were allowed to do this it was an equal conversation -- 1 for 1 not 1 for 4. This usually isn't done any more -- at least not system wide.
