Okay, we all know that winning this quest puts somebody in a super elite vmk category, economically speaking. I'm not just talking about a handful of fabulous prizes but the full use TDM ability...

so I like to think that these folks will become model citizens for vmk...that they will go out of their way to spread the pixie dust, maybe gift an item or two, and help out ppl who need it.

Yeah, I know there are greedy ppl who don't care but maybe winning this quest will enable others to be in a position where they will share some of their wealth with others from time to time in a special way.

I'm not asking for anything. I was already gifted a fabulous prize today  I'm just trying to think of something positive that could come out of this atrocity, you know?

So if you did win this quest, think about who you might be able to help in one way, shape, or form. Maybe you have an extra prize someone has been looking for for a long time. Maybe later down the road you have a lot of credits to buy extra of something and gift it to another player. Just think of the magical possiblities. :wizard:

As soon as I get my second pair of Dream Ears I'm going to gift them, not trading as I promised HOST_Hula I wouldn't

I didn't finish the quest :(

But I would feel bad being gifted because they probably worked just as hard
as we did.

But gifting other stuff like dream ears from the full use TDM sounds great.

Yeah, I hear you. I'm not trying to pressure anyone into gifting something they really wanted or don't have an extra of. ;) Chances are though that there is a prize or two that they aren't really nuts about or that getting extra credits from TDM will enable them to buy something else extra down the road.

And yes, dream ears gifting worked out great. :thumbsup2 Unfortunately I don't think we'll see that happen this time around because the quest was so hard and most ppl probably only have one pair of ears.

Well, I am not sure I will be giving out all my quest prizes, but I will be giving out what I win with treasure detector in my "Through the Ye.ear in VMK" Quest!

Great post pixie :) Yes I have already gifted two pairs of dreams ears that I won from the TDM, and I plan on doing so for most (or all) of the other pairs I get. Hopefully people will catch on that they don't need five pairs of the same ears, and will start making the people around them happy :wizard:

So far I gave away my yellow treasure box and I am making a trade for an extra pair of minnie ears I plan to give away. Im hoping others will find a way to do the same with some pieces of quest. The recipient of my award was a few away from finishing and she had the skill to do it but didnt have the pirate team early enough to pass that.

I would be gifting things to people, but all I've gotten from my TDM is a one time use inferno.

As for my quest items, those are mine. They aren't going anywhere. I lost my original princess hat when vmk switched over to the new inventory system. The system decided to sell my hat instead of the POTC2 poster that was actually highlighted. And VMK never gave it back to me even after writing them. The only quest prize that I already had was the purple pirate piano that I just traded for about a month ago. That I might trade away eventually.

If someone could get some ears and donate them to fabulousgreendream I would be greatly appreciative.

She went above and beyond to help an got left many a time and even left her quest so her mom & she could try and do the jungle cruise for me.
They didn't finish and with all the lag they ran out of time in the middle of jungle cruise for me.

You'll find many Dis members gift regularly, and will continue to do so. Isn't it great to be a part of that? Dis peeps are amazingly generous. :grouphug:

Hey Pixiewytch: I can help you out with the pirate scarf on your wish list. PM when we can meet up. One red pirate scarf a gift to you!pirate:

I would like to see anyone with extras that they don't want gift them instead of posting them up for trade. It's bothering me to see any of these items traded after the quest was terminated so early in the day. I would not feel this way if the quest went the full time, but since so many were blindsided, I think it's almost cruel for them to see the prizes on the trade board.

As soon as I actually get something from the full use TDM, then I'll gift it! :rotfl2:

It's not the cash cow everyone believes it is... :lmao:

Thank you for this post. Your positiveness is a breath of fresh air. :goodvibes

no it isn't. I've used it ten times and I've gotten dream ears and a red bamboo wall that I've already gifted. and a single use inferno that isn't tradeable.

Not sure how many times I've used it, but I've gotten zilch.

I've gotten two single-use infernos and a bamboo wall. I sell the infernos for 40 credits.

I got several things with it the first afternoon, but since then I've gotten maybe one item. I think I kept one thing I found with it...the rest went to my son, whose character I wasn't able to put through the quest. And I'll be gifting items to other people, also. IF I ever find anything again! My theory is that the powers that be tightened TDM waaaaaay up after they found that so many more people were getting through the quest than they bargained for. Definitely not a cash cow.
