Your family and your DMIL are in my prayers.

Six years ago, my MIL was diagnosed with inoperable lung and bone cancer. She went through radiation and chemotherapy, and had her share of ups and downs. But, she TOLD us she was taking us to WDW the next spring, and she did it. She didn't feel all that great, but good enough to have a good time, and we all did too. She used a wheelchair everywhere, and the CM's were ALWAYS wonderful! It was our first trip, and I've taken my two sons back twice since, with another planned for next March. Cancer is hard not only on the family member battling the illness, but on the family around her helping her deal with it.

My prayers are with you all, and wishing you a wonderful and blessed trip.

Wishing your family the best. We lost my dad 3 years ago to small cell lung cancer. The treatments were too much for his body to handle. He only made it 5 weeks from the diagnosis. I wish we would have had time to take a vacation, or at least spend a little more time with him. It all happened so quick.

My prayers go out to you and your family. However, don't give in... My FIL was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer 2 years ago. The docs said he had about 6 months to live. His lung cancer is all but gone and the docs are working on reducing the adrenal gland cancer.

Thanks to all for your prayers and for sharing. We got more bad news yesterday. The cancer has spread to the liver and spine. I am not sure what all that means but I know if her liver goes bad things will sure be hard on her. The doctor said she most likley won't make the trip but she says she will. If it be Gods will and she makes it we will take good care of her. I was a care giver for 20 years to dear friend and his grandma. I just am not sure she will be strong enough and realy hope no matter what that she does not suffer to much. Once again thanks to all of you.
