I am so excited! I set out this morning just to get cereal and milk, but I am always on the lookout for other things we need/use and I did SO WELL today!

ACME
2 bags of Life Savers Gummies (guilty pleasure!) - $2.14 each and had one $1 off coupon
Two 2-liter bottles of soda ($1 total, had BOGO coupon)
Huggies Naturals for DD ($3 off coupon!)
Gala Apples
Fresh whole pineapple
Cash Register toy (67% off, so $2.99 down to 99 cents)

Total: $16.62, savings $13.93 (store discounts of $8.93 and coupons $5)

SHOP RITE
8 boxes of General Mills cereal (mostly Cheerios) - 4 for $8 and I had 3 different coupons totaling $3.50 off after doubling
Quaker Oatmeal ($1 off)
Thomas' English Muffins (99 cents!)
1 Gallon of Organic Milk
Yoplait yogurt (1 cup) - 60 cents off
LaYogurt (1 cup)
Swiss Miss 6-pack of pudding
2 boxes of Gogurt squeezers ($1.49 each and I had a coupon for 75 cents off doubled so one was free!)

Total $26.73, savings $34.61 ($16 coupons, $18.61 store discounts)

TARGET (checking out the new grocery section!)
2 packs of Oscar Meyer cold cuts (2 for $5, used $1 coupon)
Leapfrog Tag Jr. book for DD (this was my main reason, I had a $4 coupon)
1 pack of Buitoni gourmet ravioli ($3.99, had $1 coupon)
2 cans of Chunky soup ($1.50 each, had a coupon for $1 off 2 cans)

Total was under $16 (can't find this receipt) and I used $7 in coupons!

I usually don't do anywhere NEAR this well! Just had to share.

YAY!!! Don't ya just LOVE it when you have a great couponing day?? I know I do!

Congrats and job well done!!!!!

:cheer2::cheer2:

way to go! Isn't it great to save more than the what the final total ends up being!

couponing is great. I saved 35 dollars in coupons for my shop. I shop about every six weeks. We spent 259.00 for six weeks of groceries. I usually go back for milk, bread and fruit but still I wont complain. Jo

Huggies had a $2 off coupon in the Sunday paper. You may also be able to find one online. If you haven't already you should enroll in Shop Rite family points. For every $100 you spend in eligible items you get $2 off your shopping order. Tons of General Mills $1.50 off 3 boxes cereal (you bought 8). If you live in a neighborhood that uses Recyclebank points for recycling, take advantage of the coupons you get from them online ($10 off $100 at Shop Rite, $1 off Coke, etc.). You start to get better, the more you coupon!

Send a letter or a postcard to Lifesavers telling them how much you like their product and you may get a coupon for a free bag in the mail.

That's great! I had a good deal too! DD is gluten free, so we don't buy any processed foods. Makes it hard to save money and clip coupons.

2 Lactaid Milk
Power of fruit bars
gluten free mac cheese
spinach
brown rice
ground turkey
smokey sausage
boars head chicken breast
sauer kraut
sweet potatoes
2 old spice body wash
godiva coffee
salad
organic carrots
pears
organic celery
kettle chips
egglands best eggs
rice cakes
before coupons $70.42
After Coupons I paid $31.14

Pretty good for someone with a gluten free diet!

im GF and find that stop n shop is the only store to ever put GF stuff on sale on a regular basis. if you have one in your area it can worth the trip.

We just recently found out she was, so we are still learning. She is a junior in college so she is having a rough time. :sad2: But I know she will be okay. Right now it is just the social aspect of not really being able to eat out, etc.

Thanks for the tip. We only have Publix, Kroger, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Walmart, and Target stores in the area, though!:)

Jo, I have only recently discovered YUMMY whole grain bread from Costco that is $3.98 for 2 loaves. I'm sold on that! It freezes great too! Check it out if you are a member. ;)
