I keep seeing so many Disney commercials on TV I mean I am excited to go and I don't believe I am imagining it. Do you think they are really pushing Disney because attendance may be down that much I enjoy seeing the commercials and thank God I have a trip planned or I would be so depressed

I actually just caught a Universal commercial pushing Harry. I thought that was interesting since I am up here in MA.

I do recall Disney pushing Everest though the year it opened.

I'm with you. I actually have to change the channel because it depresses me so much. We used to go every year for about 5 - 6 years in a row. (See, it's been so long since my last trip that I've lost count.) Things like, oh I don't know, the economy and health problems have prevented us from going. I miss Disney, my kids miss Disney.

I have DVR and speed through the commercials until I see a Disney one. I then play it because my kids love it, and because I love watching my husband turn into a big softy.

Thee promotion this year is having other people make their ads so it can't be expensive compared to others.. so they can afford the extra air time. I even heard a radio commercial the other day.

The HP commercials I have seen every once in awhile since they opened and it makes sense they would start promoting the park again when the last installment of the movie is starting to get promoted.

I get so depressed, too! I was planning on a quick trip this month with my SIL who was planning a WDW wedding, but she changed her mind to stay local since the grandparents don't want to travel. Now I have to wait 2 years until my DH is out of the military so we can go together, or go soon without him before I'm too pregnant. And then after the baby I'll have to wait a while because I won't leave my baby for a vacation, not even to WDW. So woe is me!

Very cold winter + plus advertisements of fun in Florida = stronger possibility that folks will book NOW when they see these commercials


This is our first winter. Between Disney and cruises and trips to the carribean, it is making me depressed that we had winter. Not used to all these ads!
