Maybe I have a planning problem

I'm currently planning two trips to Orlando, a trip to London, one to Williamsburg, another in downtown Baltimore and some smaller ones to the beach.

A trip to Baltimore....yuck!

My DH honestly believes I suffer from an illness. The trip for this October is planned. We also know that we'll be going in September '09 staying at AKV. Now I'm just trying to figure out what we'll be doing in '08 as that's our 5th anniversary and we have to do something special. I'm thinking cruise.

You mean other people don't obsess about their next trip while ON their trip? I called my sis in law last year from OKW to invite them to come this year-- we leave Friday, and I have an August trip planned, and I'm hoping for AKV next Feb--we'll have to see.
The worst is when I am writing a check and think, oh yeah-- it's only 2007! I'm on my 2008 points, so think it's 2008!

Hey- you're late! Dates just came out for DCL '08! Get on the ball!
We are already booked for Halloween '08 cruise.
(oh...and 2 other DVC trips.)

We just did an add-on at VB, now I have to figure out what to do with the 320 points that I had planned to use at SSR for Spring Break 2008.

That's a lot of points to try and figure out what to do with. Just want you to know I DO take in stray points and give them a very good home.

I obsess about our trips,

we usually go dow 2 - 3 times a year.
So the SWA flights come out, I sit and miss the good prices ( hoping they go down), stressing out about the June trip to WDW SSR, but.....

then I rationalize and say hey lets get the first trip over (HHI in march) and then worry about the June trip.......

I swear planning the trips keeps me going some times.

and I will have to agree with the poster who thought that half the fun is over once you are there....its as though you have nothing to look forward to, so I say...plan another trip!!!!

Planning is what keeps a lot of us going in between trips. It's fun to play around with the what if's and where to's that DVC offers us.

For the record, our big trip for 2007 is next month, I've got 2008 90% nailed down, and a rough idea for 2009.
