I have not seen any "stuck up" Community Leaders or people with big egoes as a result of being named one. I do not understand where all the antimosity is coming from, but it really is putting a negative outlook on some of these posts and making the forum unpleasant to visit.

There have been many long-time Dis people named CL's this week. Congrats to them...

Hey Nikki! Congrats again on becoming a CL and spreading your wonderful positive pixie dust

I do know of a FEW CLs who have not really lived up to the expectations that I associate with being a CL. I know that it shouldn't CHANGE who you are or make you more special, but I think you should be more respectful of "Guests" and helping others. I have seen many cases (sorry about this, I am not singling out but only stating my observations) mainly with younger CLs, where they have taken it to their heads. I am quite sure that with the recent CL promotions, we will see many more active CLs fulfilling their duties
