My DH's close friend moved to LA this spring and we miss him & his wife terribly. A few weeks ago I told DH that I saw a Southwest sale and for giggles priced out flights to LA and they were $300!! (That a whopper when we can fly to Orlando for about $200).
DH's friend said if you can find anything under $300 jump on it, cuz it can be up to $400. Now the key is that DH relayed this info to me (anyone else see an open door?).
I got a generic DING today for Southwest - that sale is still going. Ok for giggles I pick some dates and see what it comes out to - $270. Hey, that's under $300! I send DH an email about it and tell him I'm just California Dreaming.
He replies that we should talk and see if we can work it out!
