Maybe a stupid ?...but here goes...how do you get to Tom Sawyer Island...

We are taking the little ones age 3 and 5 in September again for the third year in a row ... We are excited. But I'm not the best planner although I do try. We have been on most of the rides in Fantasy Land and always plan on checking out Tom Sawyer Island but I never seem to find an entrance for it or figure out how to get there exactly. Maybe I keep having blonde moments but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get there

Can anyone help a dippy blonde figure out how to get my kids there finally??

There is a little raft type ride to the island. It is a stand up ride and very brief. Once there you can explore the island or sit on the porch and relax. On our last trip the dgk's and parents explored and my dh and I sat on the porch and ate the Mickey bars we brought along! It is fun for the kids. If you don't find the raft dock just ask a CM and they will direct you. Have fun!

if that's it than I think there is a raft ride of some sort that will get you there.

Liberty Square Riverboat goes around Tom Sawyer Island.

You catch the raft just across from the entrance to Big Thunder Mountain (also near Splash mountain). This is sort of on the opposite side of the water/Tom Sawyer Island from where you would get on the big Riverboat.It's fun. Good luck
