but can you walk to the AK from the AK Lodge? We are staying at WL but would like to eat at Boma for breakfast before heading to AK and just wondering if walking might be easier than taking the bus.

Sorry, no, but there is a bus available.

I'm not sure, but I don't think the lodge and park are actually super close to each other. Maybe someone can confirm...

They are really not that close and no, you are not allowed to walk. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. The animals you see at AK are separate from the animals you see at AKL. I think many people think it's the same savannah, so, therefore, they should only have a short walk.

By all means, have breakfast at Boma's, and then take the AKL bus to AK....no walking however, it is much too far!
