While we all knew this day would come to pass there's still a sense of deep sorrow on hearing of The Queen's passing.

May her family find comfort over the coming days while they grieve the loss of a truly great woman.

My grandmother brought my father over as a baby from England and I loved listening to her stories and looking at her scrap book of all the articles she saved about the monarchy. It's somewhere in a box in my house... I'll have to dig it out one day.

I don't think it would feel any different. Its tragic and the end of an era, the end of a constant in our lives.

And I actually think the monarchy is in very good hands for a long time to come, Charles and Camilla, William and Catherine. I think they all have what it takes.
