May won't be as bad as some are predicting - here's why

It is extremely crowded right now. Most of the Northeast is on Spring Break and after the winter they have had, a visit to sunny Florida and WDW in particular, is just the ticket! Have seen LOTS of people from NY, MA, and CT.

Thanks for the heads up n2mm. I had changed the Studios to May 5th yesterday. Glad I did.

I'll be there with my 5yr old dd (her 1st trip) May 12-16th. I saw somewhere (UG chart?) that crowd levels were going to be at an 8 too, but after reading many of these posts, I'm feeling better about it. I'm pretty sure that I read some where that there's a marathon going on through WDW on the 14th of May; maybe that's why crowd levels are higher? Oh well, it'll be a great trip (as long as line for Dumbo isn't 2hrs long!)

::MickeyMo We will be there May 11th (3 more weeks from today! yay!) until the 21st. I've talked to a CM on how ressies look. She said she's seen no increase from last year but the reason it's been hard to get through at some times is because everyone is making ressies for the summer. She said summer ressies are up by 15%! Wow! Sure glad we're all going in May! ::MinnieMo
