May Weather

Hi Everyone,
We are considering storing RV in Orlando area and picking it up the end of May. We would like to bring our dgs to the Fort for a few days, nuy we really want to have an idea of how warm it might be. I know the average high is in the high 80's per weather websites but is it really that warm or has that been a skewed average. (DH doesn't tolerate the heat well)

We went, once, end of May. It was hot and humid.

I pretty much go every year end of May and I live here in Florida. May is hot around 90 degrees, but at least it's not sticky humid hot like it is here during the Summer/Early Fall months nor is it peak season and it's not as crowded as coming here in June, July and August (which by the way is also hurricane season). Nope, I'll be sticking with my annual May ressies.

Our Florida winters are 70-80 degree's when we aren't having a cold front. So, if your looking for not hot and humid you should be here now.
Today's high 71/ Tues. 77!/ Wed. rain cold front-73/ Thur 61/ Fri 65/ Sat 70.
Weekend weather subject to change as they don't like to tell us the weekend might not be as nice until usually Thursday/Friday. Wouldn't want those vacationers changing their plans last minute! LOL!

We had ressies this past weekend for Silver Springs State Park, which is about 1.5 hours north of FW. The forecast all week looked fine...til Friday when the rain started....then they updated the report several times as we traveled there and set up camp….it did not stop raining til Saturday night!!! And I don’t mean sprinkling…it really rained and was much colder than they predicted. Of course, Sunday the weather was gorgeous again…just in time for us to pack up and leave, LOL!

Weather in Florida is always a crap shoot. But it can change in a heartbeat so just be patient.
