As expected, I spent money today. I saved about $15 by not getting a manicure! Why not just do the nails myself?

Because I don't have time...I ended up not having enough time to do my nails. This is what happens when I leave packing to the night before, which is VERY UNLIKE ME. If this were Disney, I'd have been ready and packed a week before and watching a Disney movie every day to psyche myself up.

Leaving for NYC tomorrow for a spendy 3 days that I won't be recording. Happy Victoria Day's long weekend to my Canadian friends!

05/16: -$ booked the hotel!! (waited until the last minute for the best deal - and I got it!!) also purchased an Annual Pass on Flex Pay (I love that option!)
Ate lunch out with co-workers (a much needed treat, and I stuck to my diet!:thumbsup2) Also did dinner out - it was kind of a celebration dinner - we talked about the trip the whole time! We split the check, so not too bad.

Wow. I suck at this. Well, I bought the kids' shoes, and did okay for a few days. Then our anniversary "date" happened. Hmmm...pricey (think $150) dinner at a swanky steak place and Les Miserables tickets (but we bought them in April, does that count?). Then I needed groceries ($200-ish). Out for dinner last night since it was our actualanniversary. This has been a very spendy month. Perhaps I can get back on track now. After I pay for my Massage license exam fee, of course. ;)

Yesterday was payday (I love saying that, lol) so we went out to dinner and did a little shopping.

The more the merrier - I jumped in a week or so into the month myself!!

On a side note - I graduated from LSU back in 19...umm...let's just say "19-something". :rotfl: I'm out in CA now, but still have family there.

Fell off the wagon this month. We got a great deal on a fridge/freezer at Lowes using sales and gift cards. Out of pocket: $200. Perfect for the garage and I love having the extra freezer space to take advantage of food sales. The kids actually chose a cold can of pineapple juice over a soda! Win!

I have been using up leftovers creatively and making meals from our existing pantry/freezer storage.

Hey LSU - Can I borrow your inlaws? My freezer could use some stocking too LOL
