I have been doing the $400 for the month as a whole, and I'm going to try something different this month just to see how it works. I'm going to try a limit of $40 for each 3 day period. $400/30 days is the same amount as $40/3 days over the month, but mentally it's a very different approach. I only have $40 to spend, but I only have to make it last 3 days! I have no idea if this will work or not, but it's worth a try.

I'm tracking groceries, eating out, and miscellaneous only in this top part.

:eek:As you can see we are already over on the grocery's:sad2: we started our DS on a high protein diet last week and it blew our grocery's out of the water but it is worth it he lost 4 kilos in a week :thumbsup2

$0 = 7/12:woohoo: I am surprised we have maid so many:cloud9:
Still feeling a bit dissapointed :sad2: that i wont meet our flights paid of goal but at least our car hire is paid and when DW refund me will have and the $1000 or so to go of the flights.
Can some one please tell me how long a billing cycle is the USA:confused:

Yikes on the groceries! Maybe I need to try this high protein thing....lost 4 kilos in a week! :thumbsup2

You are doing well on your $0 buy goal! :thumbsup2 You are well on your way to paying off those flights!

Edited to add: bought an iPad tonight. I'm alternating between excited and horrified at how much it was!

Congratulations! Are you enjoying it? I really enjoy my iPhone, but I can't justify an iPad at this time.

 What's a tag ?
Could you please tell me how long a billing cycle is in the USA?
:thumbsup2Thanks

Debbie explained the tag well. It's over there <<<<< In fact, one of my tags came from this thread!

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking about the billing cycle. In general, most billing cycles last about a month, but they rarely align with the actual calendar month. For example, one of my credit cards has a billing cycle of the 29th of one month through the 28th of the next month, then the bill is due the 25th of the next month. (Example: April 29th - May 28th charges will be due June 25th). But you'd have to look at the specific terms for whatever it is that you need to know the billing information for.

No. :sad1: It doesn't even ship until June 7. However, the cover for it shipped today. Go figure. Believe me, I had to work hard at justifying it to myself! It helped when I realized my last expensive toy (a jogging stroller my boys have now outgrown) was from 2003! :)

Ohhh, that's right. I had heard they take a while to get to you once you place the order. I guess they are just that popular!

Yeah, I think it's time for a new expensive toy for you!

I have been doing the $400 for the month as a whole ($475 including gas), and I'm going to try something different this month just to see how it works.
