May Trip to Fort Wilderness Lodge

Hi all! Staying at the Fort Wilderness lodge in May for our honeymood. Very psyched. We got 'woods view' but I'm hoping they have us face towards Magic Kingdom. Any suggestions?

WL is a wonderful resort, be sure to drop "Fort" - Fort Wilderness is the campground....

I love WL because it seems so isolated and very un-Florida but still close to MK. There are a few rooms on the top floor woods view from which you can see some of the fireworks at MK but generally you cannot see MK or the other resorts from WL.

I love to watch the birds, lizards, ducks, rabbits ...

Great hot tubs.

Very few WL rooms have any sort of MK view. The WL is over on Bay Lake, so any views of the Magic Kingdom from there are going to be limited. If it's important to you to have that view, be sure to call and have that request added to your reservation. It won't be guaranteed, but they'll try.

If you'd like a special "view" while you're there, when it's time for the Electric Water Parade or the Magic Kingdom's daily fireworks, go on up to the second floor overlook in the WL's lobby, and enjoy!
