So I'm booked for May 20-26. I've been reading about the possibility of Frozen ever after being open when we visit. My question is, will we know for certain if the ride will be open at the time we book our fast passes? What i mean is that if Anna and Elsa move to their new home, are we going to have enough notice, or is it going to show that they are still in MK, then like a couple weeks before they move and we all lose the fp? Does that make any sense?

Nobody who knows the answer to that is talking.

I would venture to say it's going to be a very fluid situation. Stay tuned.

so have they opened any new rides since the fp +? were people able to see it was going to be open at the time they were planning and grab a fp? or was it just a surprise and the ride opened without the advanced fp booking? just trying to see what to expect... and if i need to be ready to cancel fp or not stress.

I'm pretty sure 7DMT opened post FP+ and people were given about a two week notice. The May 28th opening was announced early May and then people were allowed to get FP+s from the opening date out. We are also planning a trip in May and I am just going to try and leave our Epcot days pretty fluid. So, I'd guess we'll get about a two week notice before opening. They will also probably do soft openings and let CMs ride so there will be talk on the boards before the actual announcement. I don't work at Disney and I have no inside knowledge, this is all speculation on my part.

I am dealing with this, too, because we are 6/4-6/11...waiting on info for Frozen and possible reopening of Soarin. I'm basing what I know on refurbed rides. There have been a couple refurbed rides where Disney opened the FP ahead of time for when they planned to reopen the ride and people were able to book a little ahead (though not necessarily 60 days). However, the downside is, that if Disney is off on dates, like it takes longer than expected, Disney has cancelled the FP (with email notification).
