May Travellers... question for you

I'm thinking of a trip next May. We are a party of 7 and our plan was to see the World 5/21 - 5/28. 5/28 is the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. How are the airfares? Is there a significant increase in Memorial Day weekend, flying out of MCO? Because there are 7 of us, I would consider changing the dates if it is substantial. Thanks!

We flew out of Huntsville, AL on AirTran on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, and the price of that leg of the flight was the same price ($69) as flights we have booked for July and October. I booked the flights about a month in advance when they were running a promotion.

Thanks! That does help. I'm trying to avoid making the hotel arrangements and then finding out that the airfare is crazy like school vacations or Easter!

We flew from St. Louis over this Memorial Day holiday and paid significantly less ($180 pp RT) than we did for Spring Break ($350 pp RT) or what we currently have booked for this coming Thanksgiving ($400 pp RT).

I fly NY to MCO every Memorial Day week and have always got somthing around $175-$200 R/T
