I believe the saber uses spooled LED strips like a tape measurer, surrounded by an extensible film sheath. At least somebody on the StarWarsLeaks reddit said so. Not sure if that's an assumption or if they read that somewhere.

I'm going to start saving up my money now for the arm and a leg it'll cost to stay at the Galactic Cruiser. Heck, I'd happily plunk down $1000 for one of those lightsabers like in the video.

We will see as more information comes out but while $3000/person is expensive its not outrageous for likely how much you are going to get out of it.

I would expect everyone on the "ship" basically to be actors along with doing their tasks. I will be interested to see what things like food, activities, what the adventure is like, and if you get to take home any souvenirs from your time on board.
