May Temperature in Florida ???

Another quick question, we have been to Florida in Jan, Feb, March, July, Aug., Sept, Nov and December but never in May, what is the weather like in May? Cool nights? Hot days? Any help will be appreciated when it comes to packing.

May is our favourite time to visit WDW. It's not too ridiculously hot (although it did get up to the mid-90's one year) but it is certainly warm enough that we don't have to worry about packing anything other than shorts. It really is a great time to travel to WDW!

We have been there the last three years in May it rained only 1/2 hour in the three years. Going again this May hoping for the same hot weather. 76 More days. :

We have also gone in May the last two years. Haven't had a complaint about the weather yet (Knock wood)!! I don't remember any rain last year.

I believe the year before it rained one evening that we were at Epcot, trying to get on Test Track. Thankfully we weren't one of the people caught on the ride OUTSIDE while they were unloading inside. Some people were soaked! The rain didn't last really long though.

Temperatures were beautiful...mid 80's to low 90's during the day. Fairly warm at night, although I still liked to have something long-sleeved for the breeze.

Fabulous time to go. We'll be there again May 14-24. Can't wait

Just noticed OP that you are from Nova Scotia. We live in Pictou County (northern NS). There's freezing rain falling outside as I type...thinking of Disney in May sounds like heaven right about now!!

We were there the first week of May in 2007 and the weather was great. I found it a smidge on the warm side (being from Truro and all. Hah!), and even though EVERY DAY they predicted rain and thunderstorms (it was humid) it only poured one day for about 1/2 hr. May is an awesome time to go!

We travel down in May every year (as well as October & the occasional January), and by far May is the best time to go weatherwise. We have never needed any long sleeves or pants in May, and have only encountered rain on the odd occasion (although we do take our rain gear with us just in case).

I find May has the perfect weather for going to Disney - not too hot, no rain to speak of, and don't need to wear a sweater in the evenings.

We've actually run into more rain in October than May (maybe because it's hurricane season?? )
