May Resort Rates? Anyone remember?

Since May just passed I'm hoping some folks remember what rates were available....AP, Codes, etc. I wasn't going this past May and had no intentions of going next May so I didn't pay any attention. And now it looks like we are going with friends. I'm doing a "rack" rate budget and then a projected one if discounts are available. And we will be staying at a value resort - most like Pop Century but I still love ASM!! Thanks in Advance!

I remember!

DH and I spent a week mid-May this year at the Caribbean Beach Resort.

With our AAA discount our room only price was $122 per night. (I believe the regular rate was $144)

There were a couple of codes out during that time ($89 per night I think) but when I tried to use that I was told that there were no more rooms available using that code as only a certain number of rooms are alotted.

It was a last minute trip, so I was a bit late in trying to use the code- which I'm sure is why I missed the boat.

AKL Pool View - Code $160 - Dis Visa $155 - AP $145

Codes were $139 deluxe (std view at AKL), $94 Moderate and $74 Value

We stayed at POFQ 4/28-5/3 for $89 a night.

We stayed BC concierge level, and it was $407 a night w/ an AP rate. I was trying to make a June trip to CSR and I had a rate of $89 a night. We couldn't fit it in though.

CSR May 20-24 (4 nights during Regular Season) AP Rate was $397.xx total for standard view (but we got upgraded to waterview). I think the Disney Visa code that was out was maybe $50 higher (total for the 4 nights). Our rack rate for the 4 nights when we booked it was over $700!

I think the AP rate for values last May was $59, Disney Visa rate $69. I'm not sure though, I have notes on my work computer so if nobody has been helped you out by Tuesday, I'll post the exact rates when I get back to work.

Okay, here were the May 2004 standard room value resorts rates:
AP rate - $59
Disney Visa rate - $69
Room-only "for anyone" rate - $74

Thank you so much! We haven't went outside of value season in so long that the $99/night at a value was killing me - I think the most we have paid in the last 4 years was $59/night. I'll keep my fingers crossed that there are good rates again this year.

Thanks from me, too...I'm planning a trip in early May and I have never stayed on-site before. This gives me a great idea of what to look for...we want a moderate, I think. Anyway, thanks!
