I am going in May and looking for a photoshare. Is there one or is anyone interested in doing one.

One person agrees to lead the share, which means giving people an account to login to and upload pictures from their cards, collect the money, and copy and send out the pictures when they come.
It is usually good to keep a share between 4 and 6 people so it doesn't get too big. The cost of the CD and a reasonable amount of shipping is divided by however many people you end up with.

I'm interested in participating and/or organizing. I've never organized before, but have been in a few photopass shares and thought they really worked out great. My dates are May 6-9. The key elements, as outlined by bbangel below are:

1. There is a leader who starts an account and organizes the participant's upload dates.
2. We all use one account. This is very important not to start another account or you cannot participate in the share as cards can only be uploaded to one account.
3. The costs are split equally between all members of the share, usually prepaid before you're given the account information. Cost tends to be between $12-16 depending upon the number of participants, including shipping and the cost of the CD's. If you were to photopass without sharing, the cost is $59.99 + shipping so it's quite a savings!
4. After everyone has uploaded, the leader orders the CD and divides the photos up onto separate CD's for each member.
