this is one for everybody, judging by your experiences what time of the year do you think we should go to wdw, and avoid the rain?? last 2 weeks in may or middle 2 weeks in june.
thanks all

Theres a good chance you will catch the rain in May. I would say you are guaranteed to catch the rain in June.

Dont let it put you off though as it USUALLY ONLY LASTS AN HOUR AND THEN PASSES. I have been three times in june and thoroughly enjoyed it. You can usually set your watch at the time of the rain. 3pm....

I would guess it is slightly less humid in May but I dont know. Perhaps other guests will let you know.

Personally I like the storms in june. They are like another attraction to my family. we love it. ( sickos)

Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went in May 2003 for 3 weeks, and it didnt rain once!!!

Personally, May is an ideal time, and after being in WDW in July /August, I would choose May over any other time of the year.

Temps in Low,middle 90s excellent. It was such great weather were off again May 2005 for another 3 weeks.

We've been in WDW for the first 2 weeks of May and no rain at all.

We also stopped by there after our cruise on the 22nd May this year and we had an afternoon thunderstorm and then it rained for most of the night.

From reading these boards and DISer's experience of June's weather I'd take May over June any day.

We've been in May a few times and have had some rain, but nothing like we got in June.

I too would chose May over June:)

thanks everybody, we were at wdw in may 2003 and it didnt rain for more than 1 hour the entire 2 weeks. so i think that we will go with may again BUT! are the parks open later in june

The parks do stay open for a little longer in June normally 9 maybe 10 for the Magic Kingdom looking at 2003's hours - but in May we get everything done during the day no problem because it's not so busy. Also if you are staying on-site you can always go on the E-Ride nights.
