I was planning on our next trip being in May 2015 but now debating on the first week of December of 2015...I would LOVE to see the holiday décor but DH likes the hot weather and we both love to be able to swim at night after a hot day at the parks. Is it hot enough to swim early dec? Which time would you prefer. I keep going back and forth...:confused3

You definitely will be able to swim in May. December you may or may not depending on the current weather and how cold you can stand the outside temps. Most disney pools are heated so that helps somewhat.

We have been both times. Last early December trip it was too cold to swim in the late afternoon/early evening. Mid day was tolerable but not enjoyable for me. Of course everyone is different....

Ultimately you will have to way the benefits and decide which you prefer.

Do both lol

If you want hot weather May is what you want. I've never been in December but I have heard it's hit or miss with weather.

I was just there in September and it was too cold for me to swim a couple days :confused3

Going both times sounds good to me:) The more I think about it the more I realize May is the best time for us. As much as I would love to go during the holidays I think this next trip might be May....Mainly b/c going to Disney and xmas shopping for 5 kids in the same month might be a bit much. But the following trip will defiantly be December:goodvibes I'm sure I'll change my mind a few more times before our 2015 trip;)

Dec is hit or miss with weather. Living here you could get 80's or low 70's.
This week for example is going to be in the low 80's. But in years past it's been colder.

May is a sure thing for warm weather.
