May need to cancel AK CL; Other Safari Options?

We are scheduled to leave in 2 days and my DH just came down with the same flu that I got over a week ago. As a result, we may cancel the first 2 days of our trip so he has more time to recover before we have to drive 4 hours to the airport, then fly. Unfortunately, those are our days at AKV CL, including our Sunrise Safari; the rest of our stay (9 nights) is at BWV.

Assuming that we cannot book another CL studio during our stay, do you think there are any options available that would enable us to do the Sunrise Safari a week later than we currently have reserved? Other than missing a stay at AKV and the Sunrise Safari, I have been pleasantly surprised at how relatively easy it looks like it will be to delay the start of our trip by 2 days. I guess the slow economy helps.

My understanding is that the only way you can do the sunrise safari is by staying at AKV CL. If there is another option, I sure would like to know about it.

The sunrise safari is for concierge guests.

The good news is my DH says he is already feeling better and will be up for the drive on Thu and the flight on Fri, so it looks like we won't have to change any of our plans.

I did look into booking a AKL CL room for the last two nights of our trip, which was available, and the cost with the AP was a little over $300 per night, incl tax. Since we are using 31 points per night for the stay in the AKV CL studio, this did seem like it might be an acceptable alternative from a financial point of view.
