I procrastinated on my taxes - waiting until this past Monday to do them.

I am sooo glad we don't have to do taxes in the same way as you the US (it's all basically calculated for us unless you are a special earner -e.g. self-employed or earn lots of money).

For those of you who have already downloaded the FE info - there is one small change - for abird - Anne's birthday is actually 17 May. Must have had a brain fart when typing

Hi everyone.
Thought I would give an update on Flights. All of our Uk airports are still closed and no sign of opening yet.
Pleased that no one from our group needs to fly yet and sad for the people who need the airports open.

Well, I took the leap and ordered the 3G IPad. Never owned an apple product but this was too cool to pass up. Now I have to wait until end of April and hope it arrives before we leave! The travel apps are sweet but I will need to look to see how expensive it will be to travel with it.

For those on List A for the FE, I put together a "map" of the staterooms on our list. It's just a figure of Decks 2, 5, 6 & 8 with the FE staterooms outlined in red. If anyone wants a copy, send me an email (travelbee1871@yahoo.com) and I'll get it to you (probably on Monday since I have to convert it from Powerpoint to a PDF).

I know I have 3 and half weeks before I leave, but I'm starting to freak out a little regarding this volcanic ash! Hoping this all clears up by then! I've been checking the 4/24 cruise thread, those poor people are freaking out--I would be too if I was supposed to leave in a couple days.

Same here with being worried about leaving. Things are not looking good at all....sigh....3.5 weeks is alot but not really with how long things take to straigten out. I have a non stop from newark to barcelona on continental and barcelona is one of there affected cities right now and tonights flight to bcn was cancelled.

Someone on the other thread mentioned they called Disney and they said that if they cannot get to Barcelona the claim through the insurance would most likely be rejected. Does anyone know why? I bought insurance through Travelex, if for some reason things aren't better by then, why would they not cover it?

I didn't get travel insurance, but I remember reading when I read through the plan offered by Disney--that 'natural disasters' are not covered. I think it mostly covers being unable to travel due to illness (as long as it's not a pre-existing condition), being in a car accident, etc.

Im impressed but you guys may be getting a bit too high tec for this east tennessee redneck. Im not sure I know what a PDF is but I think I have treated it with Ampicillin in the past with good results.

I haven't started to worry quite yet but is the volcano still spewing ash or is this just what was left from the initial eruption?

I was reading Heather's EBTA blog and she mentioned that they had a session for the adults to make flubber. I SO am there if they have that on our cruise.

I cannot believe it. I thought that the day would never come. TAX SEASON IS OVER!! Well, the crunch part is at least. I can FINALLY get back into cruise planning mode and start stressing about that instead of work. I am in no way ready for the trip.

I wish tax season was over in MA (some counties) have been extended until May 11th
