Hello all I'm also on this cruise, I can't believe its getting nearer and nearer.
Can't wait for some nice warm weather and to get away from the cold north east of England.

I don't have kids so can't answer from experience but can let you know what i've read:

2) - shipping ahead. There's no address details for Spain that i've found yet. I'd suggest calling DCL and asking for the address. I guess It may not be possible because the terminal in Spain doesn't belong to DCL whereas it is DCL owned in Port Canaverel. But i'd definately recommend calling DCL to find out for sure.

3) The nursery for very little ones seems to work well for some people. You do have to book the slots, so if you want to get a slot coinciding with an excursion make sure you book it as early as possible. There'll be more info on the nursery on the main board (try the FAQ and search for threads on flounders)

Thanks for keeping the storm there. It fizzled out coming across the plans and only brought cooler temperature up here. We are headed back to the 50s tomorrow, looking forward to that. By Thursday should have the bike out, 2 weeks earlier than normal.

We usually have a big snow storm during tournament time but looks like we miss it this year. Flooding seems to be under control as well. Life is Good !

We certainly did not miss the weather for we have 6 inches of snow! (southeast Kansas) Ughhh! Certainly ready for warmer weather to come and stay! I agree with Jill, it has been a long winter. Ready to head to the Med. and warmth.

Six inches of snow??? Oh, man, am I glad I'm in Ohio! It was in the mid-60's yesterday & sunny! I went to our outdoor Mall & did some "cruise wear" shopping. Found a few things, but I think more shopping is still called for...

Man, I sure hope I didn't just jinx our weather... I am so *DONE* with winter!

It will be US 110 in the cabin. The plug in the bathroom is for low voltage shavers.

Hi just been trying to find out how easy it is to get a train from the port to the airport. as far as I can gather there is a metro station across from the port but unfortunately it doesn't actually go to the airport.
Does anyone have any info on this.

Thanks Jill. Rock Chalk Jayhawks! It is pretty sad in our household. We sent all our money to KU for 7 years with 2 kids when we lived in Kansas. You get pretty attached to a school. I will say that I still love March Madness - there are always "cinderella teams" in the tournament and it is nice to think that a team from a little school can make it in the big time. This certainly doesn't happen in many other college sports. Hope your Tigers do well - daughter oh most went to Journalism School there.

Life goes on! Thank heavens for our cruise to plan - it gets the mind off our loss. Think I'll go shopping again - just in case I find the perfect cruise outfit. It is pouring rain here in Orlando but we'll be above 70 degrees all week!!!

There is no train that goes directly frmo the port to the airport. Reading my Rick Steves Barcelona book it says that there is a blue port-run Lanzadera bus that takes you to the Columbus Monumnet at the bottom of the Ramblas near the Metro Drassanes stop. Looks like the closest train station to there is the Passeig de Gracia Station near the Placa de Catalunya.

There is also an airport bus that goes from downtown to the airport.

I had to do it from work. I kept waiting to get asked why I was faxing the Vatican from work.

We still have one at work only because the law allows parties to fax in their petitions in order to get on the docket. Alot are so poorly transmitted the clerk has to call for the information anyway.

Well back to the games, Tennessee and Ohio State headed to the sweet 16.
