May hours???? !!!!! Ugggh!!!!!

OK, I'm getting VERY angry!!!!! Where are the May hours!!!! How can we plan!!!!!!

This is SO frustrating!!!!! Don't they realize Disney revolved around ME!!

I'm still waiting also, but leaving earlier than you. Will start making my PS next week. I usually just ask for the time of the last seating at certain restraurants if I don't know the park times. My last trip the hours changed and was called and had my PS adjusted accordingly. I think even when we do get the May hours, they won't be set in stone. I've been watching the threads on the March and April hours and they seem to be changing daily. I check the Disney web site in the AM and PM just in case. Hang in there, you're not alone.

WDW may be waiting to release May hours until they see how the war in Iraq is going to play out. You must admit that this is a VERY unique circumstance, and considering how frustrated and angry people are getting with April hours changing every week or less, Disney may simply be waiting to release May until they can do so with a relatively good chance that they'll be valid.

You COULD do what I do, and assume that all the parks will be closing at 7pm and plan your days that way. If nothing else, you'll have all your PS's made, and all your attractions and rides planned. Then, when the actual hours come out, you'll likely find yourself with longer evenings and more time than you'd planned.

Nope...your both wrong....disney revolves around me. LOL. I am also waiting for the may hours and checking the WDW site everyday.

I don't care which one of you Disney revolves around as long as you are going in May like me!!! We will be there on the first and I am not so patiently waiting. I am guessing the earliest MK would close would be 6 and AK at 5 and MGM at 8 or 9 for Fantasmic and hopefully Epcot til 9 for Illuminations.

Going at beginning of May-also waiting for hours but have gone ahead and made all PS and ressies based on last year's hours and will make adjustments when I get there if I have to.

I went in May last year and I don't believe the hours came out until the second part of April, so it's more than just the war. I think it's because May is a transitional month between Easter/Spring Break and the Summer Season. I'm going May 9 to 16 this year and am following last year's hours, which were short. I have already make my ps', the hours really willn't matter, the latest dinner I made was LeCellier at 6:30.

I kind of wonder what the fuss is about with the hours I too and waiting but do as WdSearcher says- I have never know Epcot not to close at 9:00 so if that is you night time park then you can figure AK as 5:00 and MK and MGM will be somewhere between 6 and 8:30. Then if you get extra late times you can add on. Good Luck

If most parks close between 7 & 9, doesn't Epcot/World Showcase and Downtown Dis get really crowded? What are some other things to do after the parks close? I too am going May 1-10 and am anxiously awaiting the hours! I've already made PS but really enjoy the parks in the eve. I hope someone can answer the crowds ? if the parks close early?

I think you can count on MGM closing between 8:30-9:00 in May because it has to be dark for Fantasmic.

I've gone in May the past 3 years, last year MK closed a little earlier than other years mid-week (6:00/7:00 instead of 7:00/8:00) but the rest of the parks were about the same. Epcot opened later last year (10:00/12:00 instead of 9:00/11:00). Last year I worked my plans to be at MGM or Epcot in the afternooon/evenings and MK or AK in the morning/afternoons. I don't think either Epcot or MGM were more crowded at night than usual because crowds in general were lower.

If they posted May hours now, they would probably be changed before the time comes, then everyone would be complaining about the changes.

In addition to the hours, I'm concerned with what, if any events like Fireworks and Spectromagic will be taking place on the days we'll be at the MK.

I'm also going with the assumption that the hours will be relatively shortened, but hoping that won't happen...
