My December trip. I just got the AHL hockey schedule and it doesn't look like there is a weekend in December that I could make it down for the quick trip I was planning.

I may have to push it to April. There is a weekend that the local hockey team is on a road trip that I don't think I could make the trip to see Flower and Garden. I guess Christmas may have to wait for a year or so.

Hi I hear you on this one , we to try to keep up with the AHL from time to time , but I have to say I would never put of a trip to WDW cuz of the AHL .. Now if I was playing in the AHL I would , but then we could not go to WDW at all for the time of the games right ... I feel for you and hope you can get a trip in at some point ...

Since I have already paid for my season ticket and I am already missing 3 games because of being in Florida for 9 days in Feb, I don't want to miss too many more games. I was willing to miss games if it was a back to back game with the one team, but there aren't any on the schedule that would work. The weekend I was looking at would be the weekend that my friends from Canada would be coming in and I don't want to miss seeing them. That is where my dillema is. I wanted to go for Christmas, but if I have to push it until April, then I will.

Without knowing the Bear's schedule.... Is there a time in later November you could go? Most of Disney's christmas stuff is already up and running by mid November.

I have to talk to the DBFF to see what her feelings are...I found that we could go Dec. 1-5 with arriving late December 1 and only miss one game against a team that we see all the time (Norfolk). We just have to make sure it is in the budget.

November is just as busy with the schedule...lots of Saturday, Sunday games. We may have to wait until next year and make a full week out of it. I would have the time saved up (this Gov't worker doesn't get as much time as most time off). If I save my time, maybe we can get a group of us to go next December as a big trip.

Best of luck getting there to you .. Hope that you can do both you may need Disney after the AHL gets under way ... I try to get to some games here in RI but not most thats is cool that you are a season tick holder ... Best of times at both this year the games and Disney

I talked it over with my DBFF and we decided that since December is out of the question, we wait a year and decide to go down next December or head down for a quick trip in April for Flower and Garden. We have to wait to see what the money situation is going to be.

I will be heading to Providence in January for the All Star Game...Looking forward to going since we haven't been up there in a couple of years.

So it sounds like someone now doesn't have an immediate trip planned, so they can try and swing one for a certain meet in October.

Not this year...Although, if April doesn't work out...Next October I want to bring my cousins for a "cousins trip". My one cousin likes Harry Potter and Despicable Me, so we would be going to US also.
