May extra hours

I just read on another web site that Disney will be extending the park hours (by 3 hours) for two weeks in May, for Disney Resort guests only! I quess it's a trial thing. But, they will not include Shades of Green, but, will include The Swan and YBC and Buena Vista. Does anyone know more info. about this? I will be staying at the Shades in November and would love this opportunity! We have always stayed at the Shades and have always had the same opportunites as other Resort guests. Not sure why they would not allow it this time. Any thoughts....

My understanding is that the non-Disney owned on-property resorts were given the opportunity to buy into this perk. SOG declined the offer.
