I'm thinking about a quick trip in May if they continue the codes. Are there any dates that would draw larger than normal crowds in May other than Memorial Day? Any dates to avoid??

I have been in May a couple of times, and going again the second week in May this year, and it has always been pretty mellow as far as crowds and the weather is fantastic. The only time we saw crowds was the Saturday before Memorial Day everyone started pouring in but up until that day, it was pretty nice.

Thanks!! I'm looking at 4/28-5/3. Looks like this should be after Spring Break and before Memorial Day crowds. Hope the codes come out soon for these dates. Hoping for POFQ.

DH and I have gone in May before and last May was the worst of all of our visits. We thought the crowds were really awful - it could have been because the parks closed earlier than they had on our previous trips or that some rides were closed and/or being refurbished. We went May 2 - 10; granted we still felt the Disney magic but it wasn't as strong. Of course, we are going the end of March, early April 1) because the weather in May was unbreable for us and 2) because all of the attractions we want to ride/see are open including Timekeeper, CofP, the Backlot Tour at MGM, and the Great Movie Ride:) We are certain that the crowds will be worse but we are hopeful the weather will be better, the hours will be longer and all the rides/attraction will be open. Your dates (end of April - beginning of May) may be better - you never know. Let us know how you make out:)

Oh yeah - another plus about May is that you can get some great discounts - we got a preferred view room at CBR last May for $94 a night!!!

What about Mothers Day? We were thinking of going from May 7-10th. Anyone know if crowds are up on that day? Thanks for any info.

We are going May 22-29th. What would be the best park (least crowded) to go to on the Saturday before Memorial Day?

We were there for Mother's Day last year and did not notice that the crowds were any less crowded or more so I don't think it should be a problem.

If you want to go to the least crowded park, I believe any park except for MK on that particular day should be fine. I believe (someone correct if I am wrong) that MK has early entry on Saturdays and those are the worst - your best best is to check out any other park on that day. Hope that helps.

Also - you can check out a lot of great updated Disney info at www.allearsnet.com, www.mousesavers.com., www.wdwmagic.com or www.intercot.com

Hope that helps.
