may crowds

This may seem silly but is there any major differences between the beginning of May as opposed to the middle/end of May? Mostly for crowds? Are there any special events then? help

MUCH less crowded in the beginning of May. Plus the humidity increases as you get further into May. We are going April 26-May 5. We are looking forward to short lines, warm weather, sunny skies and LOTS of MAGIC! (also no cooking or no making our beds-LOL)

We have gone the beginning of May for the last 2 years and we are going on May 3rd to May 8th this year. We have found the crowds lower, weather WONDERFUL and everything else awesome. I am hoping for the same this year. Have a great trip everyone! POP in 48 days!!!!!!

.....in May, around Mother's Day and I found it very hot and more crowded than
I'm used to in the Fall. The day we went to MK it was so crowded that we left.
It was just impossible to do anything. The other parks were not as bad. But
it was really HOT! I don't think I'd ever go again at that time. This is just one
person's experience so take it with a grain of salt.

We went last year May 20th for a week and it was definitely very crowded....although it was also star wars weekends at mgm and this year they aren't until June. I think it is busy during your long weekend in May and there seemed to be lots of kids who were already out of school there at the end of May. I would love to go again in May but definitely the first week or 2 would be better. Also it was about 93+ every day when we were there. Very hot....I loved it but not everyone does.

The later you go in May the more crowded it get's.

I agree with Cee.
We went last year for a week at Mother's day and it was very humid and the lines at MK were unbelievable!
We have gone in January, April and Novemeber previously with nicer weather and no lines.
I would never go back in May.

Up until this year STar wars weekend were at the end of May which made it busy. Not real bad still busy. Now with it in Juse the end of the month should not be as busy. I don't know about the beginning as we havent been there early may. YET. We are going May 6 to the 16th. I hope the lines are lighter. I wouldn't avoid the end of may though. May is the best month to go to us. Other than christmas but that just crazy with ppl.
