May Crowds 2017

I have a question about crowds for May 2017. I know Pandora is opening May 26. We will be in the parks May 21-24. I was wondering if you think it might be quieter in the parks while we are there with Pandora opening the weekend we leave?

Probably the bigger factor will be that you are these before Memorial Day weekend.

They have some Avatarland previews for annual pass holders. I'm not sure when they are since I am not one. They are pretty controlled.

I think that some people will have postponed their vacations to take in Pandora, but probably not enough to matter in what was going to be a moderate crowd week anyway. Our last day in WDW is the 19th and we expect normal May crowds.

I'll be there whole week before and was hoping the crowds wouldn't be that bad, but I noticed there are a lot of sold out hotels. This is making me think the parks might be more crowded. Also Magic Kingdom changed their hours to stay open until 11pm.

Just note that on Wed. May 24th, Animal Kingdom closes at 3:30
