So. We are discussing the option of going to DL rather than WDW because it'll be more affordable for us.

We'd be going around Christmas time...and we're wondering what the weather is normally like that time of year?

Thanks in advance!

California weather can vary in quite the same way that Florida weather does....but even when it's "cold" in California...for someone coming from Colorado's cold, it's going to be very nice, lol.

During Christmas week, wunderground.com shows that the average was 69 degrees during the day and 45 overnight. Of course, variances occur, but if you plan your clothing around that you'll be just fine.

My suggestion is to dress for the high 60's low 70's during the day and put a jacket in a locker for after the sun goes down. This is what we did for the first 2 weeks of December and occasionally we didn't even bother with the jacket at night.

It's a questionable month for weather. It's definitly cool but as said you will be able to handle it fine being for Colorado.

But just like the rockies that start getting big storms in December that's when California starts getting big rains. So be prepared for a rainy day or trip.

There is a good thread on weather information.

Thanks to both of you! I appreciate the info! And I'll be sure to sub to the thread you posted Skiingfast! :D

Oh...and one of our first trips to WDW, the locals KNEW we were there on vacation based on the way we dressed. It was kind of awesome! :D

Anyhow! Thanks again to both of you!
