May be a Stupid Question but...

We bought our DVC resale and sometimes I feel I may have missed the basic use education.

So here is my question as I have never actually cancelled a trip before.

We have a FEB UY if I have a trip scheduled for June and we decide to cancel before the 30 day window do all our points go right back into that year? Meaning we can bank them etc. do normal things with them?

A Feb UY would mean you have to bank by Sept 30. If you cancel the June reservation 30+ days out, you would be able to bank any current year points. Any borrowed or banked points from the June reservation would expire Jan 31 the following year.
