May @ BCV?

Hi all. I'm starting to plan our 2006 trip (that's right, no 2005 trip), and thinking about going the third week in May. I haven't been able to go in May for a long time, and as I remember, it was the perfect time to go.

How difficult is it to get the BCV at the 7 month window during this time? We'll book our home resort (BWV) at the 11 months, but I'd like to try someplace new (SSR or OKW would be an option, too; as well as VWL which we've stayed at but wouldn't mind at all returning to!). I'd love to get a BCV 2BR Dedicated/2 Queen, but I'm sure that will be close to impossible. So, I'd be looking at ANY type of 2BR at BCV. Would it really be all that hard to get?

Also, anyone know when the 2006 Flower and Garden Festival will be?

We just made the 7-month switch to Beach Club for this year from June 1 - June 7. I called in right at the 7 month window and was happy to find that they had plenty of availability for both our 2 bedroom and studio reservations (previously made at our BWV home location). I even got one of the coveted "dedicated" 2 bedroom units with 2 queen beds.

My understanding is that the week prior to Memorial Day has even lower demand/attendance than the weeek after the holiday. Good luck with your plans!

7 months out we booked 2 weekday nights in a studio at BCV for the week before Memorial Day'05. We love the short walk to the Flower Show and the concerts. After those days, we're heading to VB to see what that's like for Memorial Day weekend.

We also confirmed a 2 BR 2 Queen for third week in May 2005. Jan, May and Sep are your best bets for 7 mo's out.
