Actually it has been hot here lateley!! Very humid and muggy!!

darn, its been great here..the days are high 70's and drops to 60's at night. I was hoping for more of the same. We'll at least we won't be wearing sweats...we had to hit the outlet mall last trip (so sad I know )

I forgot that 5happycampers was nice enough to make a list of us to make it easier to figure out whos where. Don't forget to print it Oh, and probably another good idea is to pick up a few of those cheapo water fan things at Walmart. The ones at the parks are like $20, we use the heck out of them in the summer.

I'm having withdrawals too even thought we were there at Easter. The weather too chilly for Spring. Toward the end of the trip we had the heater on The weather next week should be "just right"!!!

You know I hadn't thought of strip bingo..I wonder if the CM's would mind?.....oh wait a minute I never win so it wouldn't matter any way Seriously, my 12 y/o has gambling issues & she Loves bingo. At Easter she won twice out of 8 games. I hope she has a good job by the time she is legal to gamble cause with the casinos around here

I'm bringing the laptop but I can't decide if I want to do the $10 a day thing or buy one of those cards from Cingular (I don't know what they are called). I guess I need to decide soon. My first thought was the free dial up but I quickly realized I don't have the patience for that. How are you staying connected?

glad to hear you made it there safely!! I think we have requested the 700 loop. I think we will call Wed to get our assignment before we head over on Thursday! I am not planning on decorating, although one of the families we are traveling with will decorate their golf cart. We have a cashmere expedition and a wilderness TT... my car has a Disney princess license plate on it... yeah DH loves to drive it LOL!!!!

We will be arriving on Sunday. I have already decorated our golf cart and it is tucked safely away in the toyhauler. I really went extreme on it. Does anyone else have their cart decorated or will mine stick out horrendously? Please let me know so I have time to modify if necessary. It's our first time at the Fort and I had heard people decorate their carts. Maybe I went a bit overboard. Please let me know. Thanks!

To be honest, I havent paid much attention to golfcarts. But I will now.. and.. I say.. DECORATE! : )

Had a great first day here. We did the "tour guide Mike" thing today at Epcot and it worked out great!

The weather is so nice. We are having a blast... even the 17 year old son who thought he wouldnt have any fun : )

Off to bed... early breakfast and off to Animal Kingdom

hey honey...just read your post about the bad neighbors so sorry but maybe they'll put us on the other side of you and with the amount of beer Chad bought yesterday the radio wouldn't bother you one bit... Really though, I think you should contact a CM and tell them the radio is just too loud (and all night long).

On a better note, how are the crowds? ohhh, and how was checkin...what time did you arrive and was your site ready? We've decided to drive straight through so we should be arriving around 8 am on Thursday. I doubt the site will be ready but we'd rather just hang out than end up getting stuck in traffic later in the day.

I finally took a pic of the new truck but the antenna topper didn't show up. But, here it is anyway and just for fun I'm adding a pic of the camper (with the dakota).

It is a bit warmer here today. However, there is a nice breeze. The noisy neighbors have left and we have been having a great time. Being my first time here, I have nothing to judge crowd level against. However, we have not had any long waits. Some rides we have gotten right on. We did, however, get the "Tour Guide Mike" thing, and have been following his advice (up until today) and it has worked out REALLY well. Today DH wanted to just "wing it" and it still worked out well.

I am ready to book a return trip for next year : )

Oh, I wanted to move to the 1400 loop area to be near the campfire program, pool, etc. However, we took the bus down to the campfire program and back last night and it was not a problem. We did not wait more than 2 minutes for a bus down there and less than 5 heading back.

5happycampers... can you tell if anything is happening in the 700 loop. We requested that loop and when we called today to get our site assignment, we were told that someone reserved that whole loop????? So we have heard that we are in the 800 loop, which is fine with me as that used to be my fav loop when it was a full hookup loop. Anyway, I was just wondering if something good was happening in the 700 loop!! We will be there by this time tomorrow

Thanks for the reply. I guess I will leave it alone. I'll be sure to look for you guys in site #231 when we arrive. If you're outside I'll say hello. You'll know it's me because I'll be in the Stitch/Hawaiin themed, white, yamaha golf cart. I am planning to request the 800 loop. We have a 39ft Dutchmen toyhauler pulled by a hunter green and tan F250. We'll have the pink flamingo/palm tree decorations.
If you see us please say hello. We met our very best friends in a campground about 6 years ago. I would really enjoy meeting some members of the Dis boards. Stop by our campsite and say hello!!!!

We will arrive SUNDAY, MAY 27th and we will depart JUNE 3rd. (I have to be home by June 6th to teach summer school )

hey everyone...we're here!!!! site 864

the weather has been great and it was a ghost town here till today. two entire loops were closed off but they seem to be adding campers to one of them. I took pics of the "emptyness" but this darn internet connection would probably take an hour to upload

there are tons of people checking in..the rvs are lined up waiting to check in. we just drove right up yesterday talk about the difference in a day. also, I met someone who was really upset that there were no carts available. if you want one better call ahead for ressies or call steve and get one offsite.

we're off to see Pirates of the Carribean we almost went last night for the first showing but I figured the lines would be terrible. better run...see yall soon

one more thing...I almost forgot
we met 5happycampers and her family..great people!! we're planning to get together Sunday for a bbq on the beach if we can get our pits there..lol

We ended up at Walmart today and decided it would be less expensive to buy a frig than to keep paying $10 a day for ice. Now, we can keep lots of beer cold!

We were at the beach by 9pm. Staked out our space and really enjoyed seeing the fireworks from the beach. Hubby kept walking the beach looking for other dis'ers... but couldnt find any

Gotta remember - give 5 year old a shower AFTER fireworks at the beach - not before.....

Hi, we were neighbors!!! We were in site 869 we left today. We had the black golfcart with the black pearl tag on the front and had the mickey light that changed colors.
