I have never really been a big pin person but today I was looking on Ebay and I found these and fell in love.

I LOVE these. I just wonder if I could make earrings out of them?

And I really like Steamboat Willie.

I have got to look for some cute lanyards now!! If anyboby knows how the pin trading works I would love to know. I'm not sure if I would want to part with these........lol. I only paid $17 for all of these pins.

Cute pins $17 for all of those pins is an excellent price. The girls have done some pin trading at the parks. Basically you look at CM lanyards throughout the resort and if you see something you like you just offer to trade. CM's have to trade. You can ask guests but they don't have to trade. If you really, really like these I would recommend getting a starter set at the parks and trading those pins for some more interesting ones. The girls have some special pins and some pins that are not so special. Some of the pin trader locations have grab bags of pins they are retiring for very reasonable prices. We got 4 pins for like $12. That got them started. Lindsey really gets into talking to CM"s and looking at their pins. My mom and brother got into it also when we went. It looks like fun. I had a small fortune wrapped up into the girls' lanyards which is why I haven't started my own yet.

Thanks!! I have heard that CMs have to trade if asked and I would hate to lose my flip flop pins. I don't know if I can use them as earrings or not because the posts may be too short. I may be willing to give up one or two of the Steamboat Willie pins. I will have to look and see if they have some plain pins that I won't mind trading. I have a lanyard that I wear my badge in at work............lol. I got it last year and I love it. I do want a new one though, as that is usually my one "GOT TO HAVE" souvenir. I have a couple of others, one from 2006 and I have one from the National WWII Museum in New Orleans, I am very proud of that one because my dad was a WWII vet. I am hyped about pin trading now. Who do your girls really like? I will have to get a pin so they can trade for it . OOOOOOOHHHHHHH this is going to be fun

Now I have ordered the Tink flip flop pins................... If I am away for more than a few days you will know that Dale has killed me and has a beautiful rose garden growing in the back yard .

I know my DIS friends will make sure all my Disney stuff is with me in the rose garden.................

You are sooo funny! I think I got a couple of flip flops on mine, the mickey/minnie set, and another one, don't remember. We got into it when we first got our AP's, figured each time we went to the park, we'd get ONE pin, and that grew, and grew, and grew. Seems like they mulitply like the legos do!! Tyler has some monorails and cars you can only get from CM's, and BOY they were hard to find. If dallas likes those, I'll see if Tyler can part with one, he doesn't wear them anyways Chris has some grumpy ones, he doesn't wear his either, says they're too heavy LOL I wear mine, and have some okay ones...I'm not much into "trading" as I am collecting, Tyler trades, and he's cute about it. I'll part with some of mine if he doesn't have his pins, and sees one he needs or wants, then I'd go buy that pin again LOL I have a tink with a goofy hat on it that I've bought 4 times!! It's fun, it's addicting, and yes, it can be expensive!!

Lindsey will be so excited to have more people to trade with! Anything princess or tink suits my girls just fine. She also has the Tink with the goofy hat and Josie has a monorail pin. I should start a lanyard with all of the extras on theirs. Maybe if I lighten them up they will wear them and I won't have to carry them.

Amanda has the cuties Piglet pin, but I know she wouldn't let me have it. OMG does Tyler's legos multiply too? I swear we will buy a set and by the time I have to clean them up, it is like 4 sets. I would love a monorail pin. I love the monorail. I don't know if Dallas would get into pin trading or not. I will have to try and contain the expense as Dale will think he can get another Harley if it gets too expensive .

OH yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By all means bring it. Get some cheap pins to start and let Jenny trade with the CMs. What kind of lanyard is it? I am really getting into this and I haven't even got to Disney yet.............. There are some cute pins on ebay. I'm telling y'all Dale is gonna have some pretty roses..............

So today I have been shopping on ebay almost all day . Not buying EVERYTHING I like but close..............
