May at BCV - hard to get?

We know from the past 2 years that getting a 2BR for an Oct stay at BCV is hard (had to move dates around last year, on a waitlist this year.)

Anyone have a hard time for arrival in May? We're thinking about getting a 1 or 2 BR next year, but we'll have to wait til the 7 month mark to reserve. Does the Flower & Garden Show pack people in like the Food & Wine Festival?

Thanks!

I easily reserved a two-bedroom lockoff for May at BCV at the seven month mark. In fact, I had a reservation at OKW which I first moved to BWV at seven months, and a week later moved to BCV instead. But I wouldn't wait too much past the seven month mark.

It really shouldn't be a problem at 7 months. Last year (May of 2005) I stayed in a 2 bedroom at BCV that I had reserved 5 months prior. May is one of our favorite months at WDW along with October. Have a great trip and good luck with the ressie. Let us know how you made out.

I got a 2-bedroom for this May at five months, and I had a choice between dedicated and lockoff.

We only need/use 1-2 studios and so far (3 years now) we've been OK at 7 months, to the day, reserving at BCV. If it ever comes to not being able to be there for the F&G, I would have to put us on a list for some points. May is the only time that I prefer BCV!

Well this is reassuring. We're pretty frustrated that we couldn't get a 2 BR in Oct. Love that location! We don't even go for F&W Festival. We just love that time of year. Only been there once in May, so looking forward to going back then too. Thanks all for your comments! :goodvibes

we got a 2br 2 queens at the 7 month window (not day by day, just 7 months from the check out date) for next month, no problem. :thumbsup2
