May 9th -15th with Photos :) Day Four

This day we went to Universal Studios Hollywood, We did the VIP tour. Its completely worth it. All the rides you get to go right to front. IF you want to ride the Mummy ride 10 times you can with no wait. You as get a pass to come back any time with in the next year too

We saved 3 1/2 hours in time we would have waited inline.

These are awesome reports and photos! My son (17) and I are going out to WDL in Sept. staying at DLH on points. I didn't rent a car as I thought it would be too confusing driving from LAX, but I want to go to Universal. Did you drive over or take a tour over? How did you get the VIP Tour and was 1 day enough time? Sorry for all the questions. I'd appreciate any info.

We drove over...we bought a new cell phone that had GPS on it and it worked GREAT!!. The driving in the LA Area is not bad. Just certain times its very busy. Like for the USH tour we left the GC about 2 hours before we had to be there (with was 9:30).

On the VIP tour you will go on EVERY ride and show in the park and never wait in a single line. They also give you a pass to come back so if you missed the lines you can then wait in them

Also we rented from FOX car rentals and got a Prius (same car we have at home) total for the rental for the week was about 250 and had a half a tank of fuel when done

Thanks for the reply! We will only have the 1 day at USH if I decide to go so if we missed anything on the tour we won't get to see it on another day. But, the tour is 6 hours so we'd still have some time that day.

At USH did you get to go behind the scene's at Waterworld and meet the players? also did they take you to see fluffy. There are 6 of us so it will be a little spendy.We are thinking about doing the tour in August and need a little more input.
