what will the second week of May look like? We are now thinking about going May 9th-15th. I know that the weather may be really warm and I also know that there may be things going on because of the 50 year celebration for DL. It is then or MLK weekend....can anybody give advice for us. Which would be best? Thank you

I'm partial to May, I love the weather, and the Flower & Garden festival going on at Epcot.
MLK weekend will be crowded , January is a very slow month, but I was there once on MLK, and would not suggest going to MK that weekend.

however, january is a lot less time to wait til your trip....:)

I agree, MLK weekend will be much more crowded than the second week of May. There haven't been any annoucements of official press events or anything like that for the 50th celebration. The only thing we know for sure is that the 50th celebration starts May 5th and the presumption is that press events will happen that date. There hasn't been any evidence that anything special is happening the week of the 9th.

looks like May wins. Just been thinking about the weather etc and we decided it also gives us more time to save:-) We want to go to Discovery Cove and I know that it would almost certainly be too cold to do that in January. Thanks for your help!!!
