May 9, 2012: 5 Night Bahamas Cruise on Disney Magic

We may be switching to this cruise! (Might have a conflict with the date we have booked right now.) Schepp, if you would like, I can do this FE if we do switch (should know in an hour). Keeping fingers crossed, as this would actually work out better for me as far as work goes!

No problem with switching the FE. No one has sent a PM yet so should be easy.

Have added you to the list! I'll send out a preliminary list in the next few days to get everyone started. As far as your two staterooms, if you have just one FE for all five of you, it shouldn't be a problem for everyone to just look for the one between the two rooms.

Thank you Cindy for your answer!! I've read a lot about the FE exchange and I'd love participaiting in it... sounds really funny!!! We are an Argentine family, me my hubby and 3 kids two girls (6/8) and a boy (10) so I be prepared to receive HM tipically Argentine gifts! Hope you like it!!!

My DD 10 is going to love the FE. I also have a DS 14 & DS 5. I noticed some other cruisers have younger kids, but does anyone have a teen? My DS 14 wants to do the teen wild side at CC not sure if I'll sign him up before we leave or wait till he meets other teens when we board.

Question? Are you signing your DD 10 up for the Ocenear Lab or for Edge? I'm bouncing back and forth because I'm not sure which club she'd enjoy more. I know the Edge is 11-13 but I guess if they're close to 11 they can be bumped up. I still think I'm going to do the Lab but I'd love to hear your feedback.

My dd just turned 10 in December. I am signing her up in the lab where her brother will be also. My ds 8 is very shy and dd 10 is very outgoing, so I hope she can help him make friends too.

I had the same thought since our DS 5 will be in the younger club. It's nice to know that there will be another DD that's 10 in the lab.

No teen in my party... but I've the same doubt. My son was 10 in October, I think I'm going to sign him up in the Lab. Do you know if I could change him later to the Edge if he gets bored? Kisses, Luz

This is what I've been told from my sister in law who just had the same issue with her son. You can bump up to the next club if you're close to turning that age. If he decides that he likes the Lab better he can move back down, but he will be in the Lab for the rest of the cruise. Does that make sense?

A few more additions to the FE!

I have updated the list and will be emailing it out to everyone shortly, so check your email! Any thoughts on what our cutoff date should be? We can always add folks to the group after cutoff, with the stipulation others may not have an FE surprise for them (since there are those who handmake things or purchase something in advance). This always has worked well in my previous FE exchanges. Soooooooo... a month, with cutoff being April 9th? Earlier? Later?

At midnight tonight I can finally say 4 months!!!

I worked a bit more on FE goodies today!

May cannot get here soon enough! I booked the Residence Inn for the night before the cruise. Have a few other things planned also. And we are officially less than four months from setting sail!
