May 12, Happy Mothers Day!! again there's-- myself(Syd), wife Deb, son Jake and my bro Elm
We called for a rental car from National which has a lot near the entrance to Magic Kingdom. Since it was Mothers Day, wife got to choose what she wanted to do. Shopping?
First we stop at the mini mart thats at the car care facility, I buy 4 hot dogs??? and snacks
go to the van only to find out I only have buns w/ no dogs in them, it's a self serve so you gotta put your hot dogs in yourself, haha!
anyway its 12
m and head towards the malls 1st stop is Michaels( she's a scrapbook freak)
the Belz Outlet, let me tell you, you can get lost in the parking lot there, mall 1, mall 2, mall 3 etc... annex this, annex that, you get the idea. and to the Premium Outlet and so on...
It's 6pm and I'm hungry so we go to Bostons Lobster Fest, off of International Drive. we liked the food there, wife like the oysters, my brother however is allergic to many types of shellfish, so he just ate the hot foods. Everyone is pretty stuffed and head back to WDW
May 13, Monday
10:30 we head back to MK since JK was ill on the first day
JKs 1st ride is Alladins Magic Carpet, theres a film crew there also looks like the guy from the travel channel, then the Tiki Room, you know the sing birds, then Jungle Cruise, it's an o.k. ride but the guide needed to be more believable. at the exit/entrance are the motorized boats, which JK enjoyed.
Headed over to Pirates of the Carribean wait in line was probably the longest of the day maybe 20 minutes, if you sit on the left side you my get slightly wetter than the right, it may also depend on whos heavier. finally take a break on the Railroad aroud MK. to Tonys for lunch
again we use Magic Wishes to pay for all of our dining, started out w/ 56 wishes still had 25 left after we ate here w/ 2 days left. JK is passed out in Tonys so we eat in peace, he wakes as we finish our meals, luckily our waiter was smart enough to have us order his food in case he wakes, waiter was definily on the ball!
It's now 3m and the parade starts as we leave the resturant. this was not planned but we had a good view of the 100years parade. head back to Buzz lightyear, scores were JK 24500, dad 1250, deb 48000, unc elm 53000. We ride again? deb 90000, jk 7000, unc elm 30000, dad 4100. me, JK, and mom do space mountain, its really dark Jake has a grip of death on my finger, he's on the seat in front of me, the ride ends and he says, "I'm starting to like this ride" as I look at my fingertip its all white cause he was squeezing so tight.
we head for the Tea Cups, Dumbo, and the Carousel then back to CBR for a swim
Uncle and Jake stay at CBR while Mom and Dad take a break at Pleasure Island
