May 7, 2009 3 Night Old Folks Cruise

Yoo Hoo! We are here. Had a great day at the pool. Met several other families also going on the cruise. Haven't seen you Luvtheears or Muskrat. See you in the morning at breakfast.

We had a great time as well and we are looking forward to our trip in 2010. Thank you all for the FE gifts.

Yes - I saw the Coast Guard helicopter from the balcony - watched it land and load and take off. I really hope the person is going to be OK.

My kids loved coming back to the room to see what was in their FE pockets! This made our trip even better! Thank you everyone that participated!

Is anyone else still feeling like their on the boat? When I look down I feel like I'm rocking. :rotfl2:

We're booked on a 4 day in January 2010 and I can't wait to get back!

Yes - my husband and I are feeling like it still this morning. We feel like we are moving or our house is moving I should say. I remember this happening the last cruise I took and it took a few days for our ears and stuff to straighten out as far as the movement is concerned.

We booked a 7 night in November of 2010. We can't wait. Our next trip is in November of this year - a week at the new Bay Lake Towers with a Magic Kingdom view. We can't wait! Still working on a trip for spring of next year. We saved like 1000 dollars by doing the cruise in November of 2010 versus the first date we looked at Feb of 2010.

Glad everyone had a great time and I loved doing the FE stuff - it was a lot of fun and it also helped us remember where our cabin was. ha ha.

Can't understand why my keyboard keeps rocking back and forth ?!?!?! :sad2:

We had a great time and we are already discusing our next trip. It was great to meet those that we had the chance to meet up with and those that we didn't get to meet up with. . . we'll catch up with ya'll on the next trip!

FE was great and our "critters" always wanted to run back to the room to see what was waiting for them. Pretty funny situation when we took down the FE on Sat night then went to get our girls from Kids Club. . . they ran right past our room :rotfl: .

Enjoy your summer and . . . . until we sail again . . . .

Hi everyone! We are definitely suffering from "post cruise blues". We will being taking a longer cruise next time. This was our first so we wanted to see how we liked it and we LOVED it. I couldn't talk DH into rebooking but I'm going to work on him real hard to make this happen in the near future. Did anyone have any complaints? I'm curious. Since I was the one in our party who did all the research, poured over these boards for months and knew about some of the surprises and extra touches, I think I may have lost a little of the wonder (no pun intended). Don't get me wrong, it was fabulous but maybe if I didn't know what was coming I may have enjoyed it more. It was well worth it though to see my girls having a great time. My one and only teeny weeny complaint would have to be the food in the dining rooms. I wasn't that impressed. I think they're trying to be too fancy and missing the mark a little. I've had fine quisine before so I wasn't as overwhelmed as some in our party who were more meat and potatoes people. I just wasn't impressed with the taste of any of my dishes (some didn't even have taste).
Anyway we had a great time and would do it over and over again. Hope everyone is adjusting well to their normal, not so magical life! I just got back from the grocery store and have to figure out what to make for dinner...life is so unfair....I want Madlen and Jose !!!!!!!

I so agree. I had to make supper and clean up the dishes tonight. Ughh! :rotfl: I agree about the food. Although I did like the Mixed Grill at Parrot Cay. That was the best dish. My only other complaint would be the hot/slippery flooring around the pools. They won't keep me from going on another cruise either. Like I said we rebooked on the ship and have already decided to book in 2011 when the new ship gets here. :yay::woohoo: Also trying to talk my parents into joining us (they are not ship people).

My kids also loved all the FE gifts. Thank you everyone. My kids are still using the cups with their names on them. They came in handy at Castaway Cay. :goodvibes
