Hi,
This is my very first post so please be kind as I may not know exactly if I'm doing it right.
I just found out about this site by randomly searching for information about our cruise (the travel agency we are dealing with doesn't EVER respond to any questions and I'm so disappointed with them). Everything I've found on our cruise, I've found by searching the internet.
Anyway, enough of my rambling...what I'm really here about is because I saw the deadline for FE is tomorrow. I don't exactly know how/what it is and how it works but I want to be a part of it! lol I found some really cute ones on ebay but want to know how I can get in on part of it once we're on the cruise, how to sign up or any info on it!
Can someone point me in the right direction as to what to do so we can participate?

On the Disney cruise ships, there is a mail holder outside of each door in the shape of a fish, starfish, or seahorse. Somehow the Disney community came up with a thing called fish extenders, which is essentially fabric with pockets on it that you hang from your fish mail holder. We bought our FE off of Ebay. We customized it with our names and it came out great. Some people do one gift for each cabin, others for each person in the cabins. Some people give gifts each night, while others give their gifts one night during the cruise. Some people hand make special gifts, some buy things from places like Oriental Trading or their local dollar store, some buy things that are specific to where they live, and others give candy. Hang your fish extender on your fish, and you'll be surprised with new gifts almost every time you return to your room! And you also get to give other people gifts! It's a lot of fun, and it can really make a Disney Cruise extra special.

I am organizing the FE list and if you have additional questions, please ask.

I updated the FE List this morning. I've added families to the list and deleted families no longer interested.

Today is the last day to sign up for the FE. If you are already on the list and changed your mind about participating, please let me know asap. Thank you!!!

We are still waiting for confirmation from SumerMunoz. If we don't receive confirmation from that family today, they will be removed from the final list.

If you haven't done so already, please send me a PM via here, FB, or send me an email (tiffamber4 at aol dot com) with your email address so I can email you the finalized list sometime tomorrow.

If you have previously sent me a message and did NOT receive a response, please send it again. It seems like some messages did not reach their destinations.

Hello, everyone!

If anybody doesn't remember me from my earlier post, I posted about how my fiancee and I are getting hitched on Castaway Cay on our sailing. My fiance and I are in a little bit of a pickle. Our good friend who is/was supposed to also be our wedding photographer got accepted into the Florida Highway Patrol and MAY be shipped off to Academy in April, preventing him from coming onboard with us and taking pictures of the most important day of our lives.
Apparently, its all rumors at this point, but its a devastating rumor as we do not know when we will know for sure if he will join us, leaving my fiance and I with 6 weeks to find another photographer. So you can imagine we are thinking of back up plans now!

The reason I am trying to find a photographer who will be on the same sailing as us is because we were going to pay for half of his cruise fare to take our pictures since he was planning on attending regardless. It came out to about $300 because he booked 11 months ago and was staying with three other friends in an inside stateroom. We cannot afford to pay full cruise fare for a new photographer so we figured we'd see if we could find a photographer who will already be onboard or a photographer who is planning on coming onboard.

Again, this is just as a back-up plan. Nothing is set in stone yet, but if anybody has any suggestions, please let us know! Thanks!

I just booked this cruise. It will only be me and the babies as we call them; DS (3.5) and DD (2.5). This is not our first cruise or that of the babies and I admit I have a bit of an addiction to cruising DCL, that and chocolate. It is our first on the Dream. DH and DS 14 will be heading home from Orlando after a few days there. DH said he will only do two cruises a year and is bowing out of this last minute trip that I have added on to our Orlando trip. We did the MR in January and are set to be go again in Sep, but I am not so sure if that will work out, it depends on my new business by then.

I digress. So, here I am taking two wild babies all by myself who love DCL. I apologize to everyone in advance and hope we get a table by ourselves. I am taking two weeks at the end of May to Hong Kong and Vietnam for my MBA degree that is almost complete (counting the days actually). I am not excited about the international trip in the least because of leaving everyone, especially the babies. So the international trip is another reason/excuse for me to justify this cruise by saying it provides quality time together with no cooking or cleaning to take away, only our time together and a little working on a business plan.

More than you all need to know, but HI! It was great reading up on people. I hope to meet up with some of you.
