Hi,
Does anyone know when we can expect to receive our Cruise tickets.?
I guess ours might be a bit later as we live in the UK.
Happy cruising... :)

Mick.

:smooth:

If I remember correctly, if you are doing Disney air, about 2 weeks to 10 days prior to cruising. If you don't do Disney air (which we never do), we have typically gotten them about 3 weeks prior.

DH and I went to Jetty Park at Port Canaveral on Saturday to see the Magic. Here she is:

We are sooooo excited and can't wait for OUR cruise!!!!! :cool1:

I even started staging stuff in one of our extra bedrooms in anticipation of packing. It's sooo close now.

officially less than 1 month until my last day at work before vacation...praying for sunny skies and smooth seas

I'm so glad it's finally April! It seems so close now!

I tried on my formal last night to make sure the length was OK with my shoes. Wow! DH was able to get it zipped up, which is a relief, and I even tried to sit down in it, which was an adventure. Let's just say I had excellent posture! :rotfl2: Needless to say I'm off to the gym today!

I realized that on the ship it was just going to be me and DH, so I had him practice the fastenings and all. He did a really great job with all the clips and hooks and winches and pulleys this dress has. I've seriously never had a more complicated garment! Luckily everything else I've got just tosses over my head!

Have a great day, everyone!

Im headed to the mall now to window shop...im ready to book my next DCL cruise, dont have the money, just the excitment

Me too, I have a whole area of my closet set aside for stuff! I am getting so excited my stomach is getting all fluttery in anticipation! :thumbsup2 Great pic of the Magic by the way. Even makes it more exciting!

So I am not the only one who's spare bedroom looks like a bomb went off? :rotfl: I know we are getting close when I start stacking things in there !

I don't have a spare bedroom, so I usually put my carryone on my nightstand in my bedroom to put stuff in as I buy it or think of things I can pack. I might end up taking up space in the downstairs den with the suitcases to do my packing. DD's won't be too happy. They don't sit on the couches, they play Bratz on them!

The capri outfit I ordered from Disneyshopping (catalog) is on it's way. Ordered DD's bathing suits too, so they will each have 2 to take on the cruise. I'm waiting til the last minute to buy a new one for me. Of course with Easter and Palm Sunday coming Curves is closed on the weekend so I can't sneak in another workout then, I'm gonna have to try to squeeze one in during the week at night. Tonight might work because we have been cancelled for softball practice. :Pinkbounc Tomorrow night is the last night for swimming lessons and Thursday is oldest DD's gold star band practice with marathon banking/shopping in a hour. :cool1: I so cannot wait for this cruise.

pearlieq, congrats on fitting into your dress! I wish I had the results you did. But, we still have one month to go!

ganurse, that is great you only have a month of work left. I'm feeling guilty about taking the time off when we are going. I do A/R credit & collections so I'm going away when the customer statements hit. The phones ring like mad. I'll be working until noon on Friday, then it will be my marathon to get home and get the birds to the vet for boarding and pick up the girls at school on my way back (want them to be there long enough for the day to count) and get home to finish the last minute stuff in time to leave at 3:00pm sharp! Wow, I'm tired just writting it all down. And I also have to leave the house prepared for my DB to come house/dog sit for me.

Miss Jasmine, thanks for the picture...it gave me the warm fuzzies when I saw it yesterday. It is kinda nippi here in the northeast. Our spring tease seems to be over for the time being. Might get some snow flurries today.

Have a great day everyone...one more day closer to Magic! :cheer2:

Wow Mazzarafe, you've been busy! Hopefully it's making the time fly by for you!

It's Spring Break for us this week. No plans really. The sun is shining though and it's in the 60's! I'm lovin the sunshine and am even more excited about the cruise!! :sunny: Today I took the kids to an indoor water park. Thought I'd try out their new goggles and get them in the water swimming since it's been almost 7 months since they've been swimming. We had a blast and the kids are stoked about swimming while on the cruise. They are wiped out and will sleep well tonight. Got to try out my new swimsuit today too. Fits perfect and stayed put on the waterslide. :thumbsup2

1 more day down, 31 days until we leave!

Heather :cool1:

I tried to organize this house this week while DH was gone but I didnt get to far? Come on vacation, get here soon! I can not wait to jump on that boat. We have never heard our names being called but maybe this time! :goodvibes

I am on a deadline at work and coworkers are driving me nuts. I NEED THIS VACATION. :teeth:

I must admit that I am getting a little nervous all ready about forgetting something important.

All you need is $$ and any prescription meds - all else can be bought ! : :teeth:

I've got a crazy co-worker who hasn't shown up for two days because she's pissed about something the boss did. Don't think she's coming back- which is really stressing me out because I am the only one who can do her job - and I have enough to get done before this cruise - but come heck or high water - Ima goin! :sunny:
31 days and counting ! :sunny:

I always forget something....last time me and DH went out of state for his cousins wedding I forgot razors for him and his belt. Kinda needed both to be dressed for the wedding. We took a drive to Walmart for both and included a wine bottle opener and a quick stop at the package store for a nice bottle of wine. We were in Geneva, NY which is big time wine country. :drinking1

I better start making my list and put that belt on the top. I already have razors and shaving gel is by my side to bring upstairs to pack. At least I won't get picked on for forgetting the same things this time. :confused3

The time is flying by, I cannot believe it is already hump-day! I just got back from exercising and I'm trying to enjoy a few sips of coffee before tackling a shower. It is cold and rainy here today, a town 20 minutes away is getting snow.

Today is also the big day for the President to come and clog up our already jam packed highways to come make a speech in Bridgeport. Glad I don't have to go in the direction they are closing the highways in both directions.

We haven't heard from Chris lately, hope he hasn't eaten too many chocolate bunnies. ;)

 Hi Gina - It's actually snowing here right now - it's not sticking though so that's a good thing. I want sunshine and palm trees :thumbsup2

Yeah!!! Only 30 more days until we board that plane that will take us to Florida for our cruise!!!

Can't wait to just relax with no cleaning, cooking, picking up, organizing, meetings, kid yelling, or anything. Just relaxing and reading!!!! And of course EATING!!

Thank goodness I have been able to lose some weight so I have room in my clothes to gain the 8+ pounds I'm expecting to gain on this cruise!!

I hear you about this, but I usually just remind myself that almost anything can be gotten. The stop in Key West is nice because it's our last chance at American stores--you can get almost anything in the way of clothes/toiletries there. You could even have your doctor call in a perscription to the Walgreens if you forgot something!

Plus, half the time I realize that I didn't really need it or could make do fine without it anyway. Except for the highlighter pen. If I forget a highlighter pen, all bets are off!!! :teeth:

So much stuff to start organizing! I have to finish my shopping list, and then actually find everything on that list, get a haircut, make arrangements for a pre-cruise manicure and pedicure, prod DH to get his things together and tell me what he needs, get all of our papers/confirmations together, print out all the necessary driving directions, and on and on and on...

But hey, I'm SO not complaining. I'm going on a cruise!!!!! :woohoo:

LOL Gina! I have been thinking the same exact thing! Also, there are so many others who were here in the beginning phases of this thread who we haven't heard from. Wonder if they are all still coming???

Pearlieq - I too need to make all my appointments so I can get a mani/pedi, haircut, and waxing. Time is ticking! Can't wait to get all our cruise docs, hopefully in the next 2 weeks we will all have them. That will make it so much more real. :thumbsup2

Happy hump-day!

Ok, so my computer crashed yesterday and now I have to post from dh's computer. Now we also have to buy a new computer! :( Not what I was thinking of. Here I saved all that money on the cruise etc, just to have to fork it out for a new computer! (ick)
Then I find out my one dog will NOT get along with the ladies big dog that was going to watch them (picture this 15 lb terrier terrorizing an 80 lb standard poodle! LOL) So now I have to find someplace else to put them! :(
I still haven't made it shopping for a new swimsuit and ds and dh need new shorts.
That whining done: the good news is: I got ressies for our parasailing on CC! Just keep trying if you can't get a ressie. I cancelled our excursion in KW and we are just going to the Pirate museum and walking around. We may do a private charter to go view dolphins.
Just think: a month from today, we will (well most of us) be boarding airplanes and heading to Orlando!
A dear friend just got back from the Western and really got me excited to go again with telling me about their cruise! :Pinkbounc

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Chris: put down the choclate bunnies and step slowly away!
